Can anyone recommend someone to check where a leak is in my central heating (mains gas) I have tried calling Naturgy but as message is in spanish I don't understand it. The pressure in boiler keeps dropping and I had boiler serviced January and have now had him out four times to do pressure. Have checked radiators all nice and hot. Thaks for any help.

If there's no sign of water on the pipework or radiator valves the problem is probably inside the boiler itself. It doesn't take much water loss for the pressure to drop so can be hard to spot.

Have you tried phoning Novotech in Elche? They are CH specialists. It was Wilemite that recommended them to me, and we have solved all our problems using Novotech.

Many thanks for advice, no water round rads: can't check pipework as all underhouse. Boiler been checked and bottom part replaced as tap too tight for me to turn. Will call Novotech on Monday.

I hope they can sort it for you LJK. We had a lot of problems, from leaking radiators, no thermostat, a leak on the boiler and problems with the boiler operation. They managed to sort the lot out for us. We have taken up a service contract with them now. They are a good company and nothing is too small for them to tackle.

Good luck.

Many thanks nnejy I know things are different here in lovely Spain but all the years with British Gas and I was very lucky and never had problems always checked yearly. I have even asked them to check why by meter where they take readings gas always make a pumping noise workman just shrugs and nothing done. Could be a lot worse.

I’m assuming you have a pressure release valve (prv)it goes through the external wall they often leak, we used to tie a ballon on it to see if it got water in if so you need a new one
