This was sent from The secretary of NW in Spain..it may well be innocent but the criminals are always looking for new ways to progress their trade.This type of event could aid the criminals in the Campo Areas so if you hear a drone take care and inform the policia local.
" lunchtime we noticed a black saloon car pull up outside our villa in La Perla.
The occupants were a large and heavy-set man with a black unkempt beard, who appeared to be of Muslim origin, together with th
ree younger males.
They got out of the car and began to fly a drone over and back and forth across our villa.
One of the younger males flew the drone, while another wore some sort of headset and appeared to be studying the resulting video footage.
When my husband asked them to leave, as the drone was upsetting our pets, they climbed back into the car and drove away.
Our property has high walls and large gates, and we can only assume they were taking a video film of the property for some sort of nefarious purpose.
This is, at best, an invasion of privacy and, at worst, a possible criminal enterprise, and I would ask any residents of Arboleas and the surrounding area to be on the lookout for these people, and to contact the police if they suspect their homes are being in any way targeted."
