Warning!

There is a man from Murcia who is advertising on different Buy and Sell sites in this area. He is selling customised pool tables. Please be careful. He requires a large deposit paid by bank transfer (no PayPal facility) into his partners bank account and then gives you a delivery date. This delivery never happens! You also cannot get your deposit back. This happened to my daughter who lost £300. When I put a warning on Torrevieja Buy and Sell site I immediately had a response from a woman who had come very close to paying her deposit, but on investigating further decided not to go ahead. At the moment he is advertising an auction, the woman who 'won' the auction paid €560 and now cannot contact him.

Will watch out for this! We always say on our for sale forum that no one should pay anything upfront for any item without viewing the item and seeing it is genuine. .same goes for rental properties. There are many scammers online and we can all protect ourselves by being extra careful!

Thanks again.

Sorry, I dont class this as a scam. People need to be more careful, giving money away. Never use bank transfer unless you know where it is going.

I can see what you are saying but there are still some very niaeve (ultra trusting!) people who use the Internet and there are horrible scammers who rely on this.
Never use bank transfer is the best ever advice!
