What I am a bit unhappy about is saying that the robber is of a certain nationality when they plainly do not know... the person could be a Gypsy, Romanian, Bulgarian etc... but to "tar" all robbers as Romanians is plain wrong.... so is suggesting all Muslims are rapists and bombers.... just because some are...
..
If you don't like saying mugged what do you call it then ????
How does it suggests that the victim was a mug ????
Have you got a nationality preference for this type of crime ????
Not at all, but I don´t say "Oh look, someone has been mugged, I bet a Romanian did it...."
I would rather wait and see...
Of course there are many who would say... "Oh look, there is a drunk, I bet he is a Scotsman" but not me,.. I don´t jump the gun and certainly don´t just ... assume...
..Still, if you like to jump to conclusions that is your right.... but not mine..
.... I feel sorry for the guy who got robbed, of course I do.

Why does it always have to descend into a slanging match?
Hope you're OK Dave.
