I searched everywhere for a fire extinguisher a couple of years ago and ended up buying one on Amazon. Smoke alarms you can get at Leroy Merlín and probably at most Ferritarias.

Hi,
You can buy small fire extinguishers in Feuvert by Carrefour. This is where I bought mine for my car.

Every 6 months or so Lidl and Aldi sell them. Failing that Carrefour in the car section for extinguishers and electrical for smoke alarms, not sure if it were smoke or CO2 alarms

They sold fire extinguishers and alarms at the ferretería on Lo Marabú (near Consum facing the CV905) last time I looked.

As a point of interest, as a retired firefighter and IMHO, I would not recommend a fire extinguisher for either a house or a car, much better with a fire blanket, much easier to use, more effective, little maintenence and less messy and dangerous to use.
However, I beleive an extinguisher is a compulsory element for a holiday let.

Why is the home you live in different to a holiday let? Surely if you recommend a fire blanket for your home, the same must apply to a holiday let?
Just a bit confused on this one!

To get a licence to operate a holiday let, I believe you have to provide a fire extinguisher, i would still recommend a fire blanket too.
