I have been called for my covid jab next week in Torrevieja. It looks like the centre is at the back of Carrefour. Has anybody been there yet? What was the experience like?

Thanks
Mary

First vaccinations start at the centre on Tuesday, so we’ll have to wait till then to find out. Looks like they’ve called people for 6th/7th April with the second jabs on 29/30 June. They called people born in 1956/1957 to use up supplies on the AZ vaccine.

Has anyone had any bad reactions to the vaccine especially the Astra Zenica jab?

Most I know who had it in the UK had a bad arm or flu like symptoms /headache and felt quite poorly but it only lasted 24/36 hours. They say take a paracetamol before and 6 hours later.

I’m gonna carry a bottle of paracetamol, a bottle of ibuprofen and some Lem-sip.

Great to hear of peeps having jabs. But helpful to know which group they belong to, ie under 65 or over, as well.

There are clearly differing groups
being called in differently.

I have had my AZ jab, as has my hubby and many of our friends (we are all over 65). Not one of us to date have felt poorly afterwards or following days. I felt a bit weary next day but nothing more.

Great news that vaccinations are being given to under 65s now - hopefully not too long until over 65's will receive their jabs too.
