Only British residents will be allowed to enter UK from the countries on the red list and must quarantine for 10 days in an approved hotel.
The restrictions in Spain for travellers from the UK will come into effect from midnight on Tuesday so all arrivals from 1st December will be affected. The rules will not apply to UK citizens who are legally resident in Spain and they can still travel with one of the criteria on the Covid certificate including a covid test if they are not fully vaccinated in the same manner as EU travellers.
