Hi,

We are thinking of moving over beginning of summer, we have a 2 year old and was wondering if there was any clubs or places we could take him?

Also do you know of any British speaking nurseries in the local area?

He is bars and restaurants for allowing children In?

Don't have rug rats so no first hand experience for you - but people I know have found Mums Abroad In Spain a good web site for research purposes.

Hi Coleen,

The bars and restaurants in Spain are very welcoming of children - more so than the UK. IMO it's become even more child-friendly since smoking was banned inside in Spain. A few of them have children's play-areas, such as Coopers bar in Dona Pepa, Quesada and the 'Country Club' in upper-Quesada. The Country Club play area looks great fun - There may be more??

There is a Children's tumble-tot's type fun place, not sure what it's called but it's near the arches in Quesada, not far from the Quesada Fish and chips and of course there's the water parks in Summer. The Quesada Water Park seems especially suitable for little ones.

We have been here 3 weeks and no complaints so far! Angie

The Spanish bar in the high street, La Amstelaria, has a soft play park upstairs with bowling. The tables also have beer pumps on to keep adults happy while kids play! Very good Tapa's here also it is a haven in the summer as fully air conditioned.
