Almond blossom

Hola,where is the nearest place to go to see the almond blossoms,normally we would take a trip with Rosa or Daves coaches,,
We would rather not drive on some of those winding roads,,preferably within a hour of TORREVIEJA.

The road between San Miguel and VillaMartin by the old castle has a stretch of almond blossom. Not spectacular like the Jalon Valley but very pretty at this time nevertheless.
Wouldn't suggest it as a day out but a drive past is nice.
And, of course, not at weekends at the moment as you'd be leaving Torrevieja and entering Orihuela district which is not allowed at the moment.
