Just had menu del dia here & nothing to fault...
Menu choice may seem limited at 3 first plates, 3 second plates & 5 afters, but I feel better to be master of few rather than Jack of all trades.
Very Spanish, I had the lentil stew for start & followed with sausages cooked in wine plus Spanish 'bread pudding' - pan de calatrava.
My wife had lasagne, meluza (hake) and flan de café (coffee creme caramel).
Big bowl of fresh crusty bread & jug of wine - would have been topped up if we'd wanted more - and coffee to finish. All for only 9€ each!
Decor is very nice, clean and attractive designed by the owner, Juan Saez.
Friendly attentive staff don't speak English, but no probem.
Location - Calle San Pedro, 46 - a bit difficult to find being on steep hill back street up towards the caves, but well worth the effort.
Besides menu del dia they do breakfasts, mid morning snacks and tapas every day from Monday to Friday & Friday is paella day when the mdd is paella :)

Thank you for this. I never seem to see any of these restaurants when we go to Rojales. They must be hidden in the daytime but will certainly go here.next time we are there.

Will also put it on our restaurant list.
