Rose & Stein Restaurant.
3 of us Visited the new premises on Saturday for lunch. The owners were at the old Gateway site for 2 months but have now moved into much bigger premises on the site of the old Russian Ferriteria next door to Gamma supermarket. They have kept the outside dining area with the straw umbrellas opposite as it was previously.Speaking with the owners, they confirmed they are Hungarian, but hope to have a diverse choice of foods.
We found the layout of the menu card very confusing, but after some prompting eventually found our choices.
They have the normal menu's plus A La Carte plus a Special, which is a Special main course for each different day.
Fridays special is Steak Night.(Noted).
We had the menu of the day, greek salad, Hungarian Goulash and Pate to start, followed by the Lamb Special (2) and Breast of Chicken, followed by Pancake with ice cream, fruit cake and ice cream.
We had between us a glass of wine, a Fanta orange and 2 small beers.
The bill came to 29€ 80 for the 3 of us.
Everything was very nice, the food, the ambiance and the service, they should do very well once people experience this restaurant. For reservations
