Talk Quesada forum

4 of us went last night we were disappointed chose the set menu 9 euros for 3 courses which sounded great but the food was very average had to wait 45 mins for starters to arrive then 50 mins for main course, they then brought me the wrong meal! We wanted pancakes for dessert but was told it was too hot to make them why have them on a summer menu
Maybe they were having an off night with the food and service but we wouldn't go back

We have been there twice since they moved to the new premises, the food was lovely except for the iceberg lettuce which was dry and brown, on both visits. The owner was the Chef at the Gateway and was very proud of the fact that he refurbished the new place by himself. They are very nice people and we will be going back soon. Despite the lettuce!!

:Looking ast other mentions of the restaurant, they say it was about €30 not €6 so how did you get to that amount, and what do you have to eat that was different to the others?
Is it still €6 or not?

No not 6 euro - It has no affiliation to the old Gateway restaurant where they had the 6 euro menu.

They are doing a 9 euro menu now though as far as I know.

Have had 2 meals there and was very nice. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. On bioth occasions we were given a voucher for our next visit for a free bottle of the house wine. Would recommend.
