Five of us thought we would try this restaurant for the first time on Saturday night (25th June) as we had heard it was under new management. We had a choice of where we could sit, which was very thoughtful - either inside the restaurant or in the outer ¨conservatory¨area. We knew that a singer was going to perform from 9 p.m.) so we chose outside in the ´conservatory´.

From the moment of being seated - the service was outstanding - everything was explained carefully and nothing was too much trouble. We all ordered different things and two of us had starters and main and three had main and dessert. There was a good menu choice and even a dish for vegetarians which is not always offered by restaurants in general. The food was very good and everyone ate everything up except one of the party had to have a doggy bag for the ribs because there were so many! Apparently the desserts were extremely large (lol).

The new owner and our waitress were charming and so so helpful, it was an extremely pleasant evening and we will definitely be recommending this place to people we know.

This particular building has changed hands many times and we have been to the different restaurants as they have come and gone. If memory serves me right, when we first came here 18 years ago I think it was Neptunes II Fish and Chips.

We wish the new owner well and hope she makes a great success of it.
