I'm hearing that the Lemon Tree Restaurant has been refurbished and is now La Pura Vida.

Anyone been yet?

The Wife, of the husband wife team, is Costa Rican. The owner, by the way, is Dutch.

I called in on Thursday for a beer with a few friends and we were all impressed with the decor, surroundings and friendly service.

I returned for lunch on Friday and my wife and I had the 12.95€ menu del dia which changes daily.. the food was just fantastic and plentiful. The service was just perfect.

Drinks are not included with the menu del dia. However our drinks were only, 7€ for a bottle wine, 3€ for a very large beer

We'll be returning, especially as the menu is always new

Well if it is La Perla Vida it's a real coincidence the wife is Costa Rican as Pura Vida is a Costa Rican way of life :!:

Sounds good though Donaduo, definitely worth a visit, thank you.

As you head towards Guardamar on the Lemon Tree Road, La Pura Vida can be found, on the right side, before the El Raso roundabout. Because of the kerb side foliage, you'll not see it until your on top of it but don't worry, you can turn come back on yourself at the roundabout. I think there's a bus stop opposite.
