We had been 'out and about'yesterday and decided on the spur of the moment to try to get in to Da Silva for Sunday Lunch. Got as far as the entrance steps, heard the exceptionally loud music from the premises next (which should have carried a health warning) so we walked away disappointed.

I assume it is not a normal situation so has somebody got 'the hump' over something?

We will be giving Da Silvas a miss for the near future, unfortunate as the reviews on their food seems excellent.

Please give da silvas a try. If you were inside you probably wouldn't hear the idiot next door. The service and food are exceptional. The owners delightful. It's one of our top 4 to go to as a proper restaurant in the area. Their ribs, pate and prawns are recommended. The man next door is just a pain, don't miss out because of him.
