There were some really good ones. The worst was the place where they gave you cold pizza and a miniscule glass of wine. I won't mention the name, but I might give it a miss next year.

Interestingly enough we missed bar Lucas as it was previously not good but a few people have said this year was very good so will give it a go next year! overall really enjoyed the whole three days.

Bar Lucas was our favourite too. Worst, in our opinion, was the English owned restaurant that told us tapas had finished and we should have come earlier!!! That was at 6.45pm on the Saturday!

Absolutely agree, we couldn't do the tapas trail this year, but Bar Lucas was our favourite last year. And they don't just 'up their game' for this event - we have Spanish lessons every Tuesday lunchtime and go into Bar Lucas afterwards to practice our Spanish and have great tapas.

It's a shame they have no outside space, where we could sit with our dog, as we'd go there more often than once a week. Also, in the summer, it has THE best air conditioning! :D

Agreed, Bar Lucas was excellent. We went there having been rudely told by the owner of Oasis that Tapas had finished. He clearly did not want the business, which is fine, as we wont be going near the place again. We will certainly be going back to Bar Lucas though again and again. At Differente the tapas was good, but the service was appalling. We ordered at 19:40, and at 20:10 when nothing had arrived I went to see what was happening, and they had either forgotten about us, or ignored us. We saw 2 other parties simply walk out due to the service.

Completely agree about Oasis bar,the owner was quite rude with a few people. He ran out of Tapas and clearly wasn't prepared to serve any alternative tapas as one of the other bars had done when they ran out. We have always enjoyed Oasis but will now think twice about going.

yes agree, Oasis, and Differente only been in both places once and they wont get my custom again ,due to poor service and priceing.i think at Differente they favour the dutch/scandanavian customers from what I,ve seen.
but hey ho,plenty good Spanish places around at right money .
off to bar lucas for sunday tapas this week I hope.
