That's a bit derisory. I am quite sure that any Italians in Spain go out occasionally for Pizza or Pasta, Americans for burgers or ribs or the Chinese for some Chinese food etc.

We like to go out every 2nd or 3rd Sunday for a nice British Sunday roast - we have the other 13 or 20 days in between to try Spanish and lots of other different cuisines.

I'm sure many of us "Brits abroad" also enjoy Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese and Indian, Bavarian, Italian and Patagonian food as well as a good old British Sunday roast now and again...nothing wrong with that. We are lucky to have so many choices in the area ..Be a bit boring to eat the same thing all the time, whether in Spain or not.

Like a dagger straight through my heart...

Sorry Glassman...did I not agree with your musings? I must apologise for having a different opinion from you. In this all-inclusive society we live in, I mistakenly thought that all opinions were equally valid.

Clearly not.

And on that note we lock this topic!

Thank you for all your contributions.

Yes all opinions are welcome but we need to try to repect all opinions. One or two seem to find that difficult...or are they just keyboard warriors, coming onto topics to stir things up!?

Happy New Year.
