Paulr...a bit harsh!

The Patagonia in El Raso is excellent...no tinned veg there!!!

Grill House is fab, so I agree with you there!!

Nothing harsh at all - my post was a factual comment, specifically about the Patagonia in La Marina. The waitress was very embarrased when we complained and didn't hesitate to deduct the cost of the veg from our bill, saying that she had repeatedly told the owner about the veg.

So pleased you agree with me about The Grill House - pity you couldn't have given a more informative and helpful critique about the place.

Yes just to clarify the yellow rose is closed indefinitely for at least 1 year due to the owners both having some serious health issues. My partner was the chef there. So maybe hoping to reopen in feb 2019 it at all. Hope this clears up any questions.

They have a Facebook page (Buenos Aires Asador Argentino) but there’s no menu displayed. It shows 5 stars but, with only five reviews, I’d take that with a pinch of salt.

We did have a look at their menu, which is displayed outside, and we thought it a tad pricier than Patagonia but, as we’ve never had a good meal at Patagonia, it might just be worth the extra.

I see in the menu , Buenos Aires Solomillo
in English underneath it says Argentines sirloin,

Solomillo is Spanish for fillet steak
not sirloin, bit miss leading I think.

I had a really good steak entrecote /sirloin inc 2 fried eggs and chips down in formentura @ Diegos Bar €9.50 ,its a traditional bar /restaurant setting.............not rip off prices food or drink,
wife had chicken cordon bleu home made ,it was that big she could,nt eat it all €8......
Columbian sausages and empinyadas for starters 2€ each .nice friendly welcoming family owned.
