I can certainly recommend the Purple Parrot Bar/Cafe in Plaza de la Constitucion, Benijofar, next door to Fratelli´s Italian restaurant. The owner Mike took over these premises just before lockdown but he managed to keep going and now has a regular clientele.

There is a wide range of snack food, sandwiches, wraps, toasties etc. as well as salads and jacket potatoes. There are daily specials as well and some very interesting deserts, if you can manage a second course.

Lovely friendly staff make this a super place to while away a comfortable hour or so with a drink or two in a tranquil setting opposite the church.

All current necessary precautions being taken for your safety.

I park in the road behind the Plaza, always manage to get a space somewhere there. Well worth it too, just to go to the Purple Parrot.

Yes I was there on Saturday, I parked on the big car park by Studz bar, had a lovely toastie and coffee, next time it’s a scone ! Good luck to Mike and the team

5 of us, had a fabulous lunch at this venue today. The steak and ale pie I must say, was exceptional.

Lovely people, they deserve to get on, good food good staff, good beer can't go wrong, good luck to them.
