In my view, anybody selling it would have to do it in bottles. Firstly, getting the cask beer itself from England would be a hell of a task. Secondly, without a temperature controlled cellar it wouldn't last 5 minutes over here. And, a barrel, once tapped, lasts 2-3 days and then it's past its best. So, you would need a few afficionados to make sure it got consumed - then there's the price!....

A decent pint of Guinness is the only viable alternative here, IMO.

After hearing about Spitfire from Tony (thanks Tony!) the brewery very kindly let me cancel my order that was due to be delivered tomorrow! Their beer lasts for up to up to 2 weeks in the UK and I didn't think about the temperature difference in Spain but all's well that ends well!! My husband's really thrilled about the Spitfire and so am I!
