The reduced priced Spanish holidays available to ALL people receiving a pension. You can go to Rosas and they will sign you up for next years holidays. All you need to do is take you recidencia down to them and they do the rest, wonderful.

Hi

We've just returned from Menorca for one week on this Spanish Pensioners holidays. It runs from October till June. You need to go to a Travel Agent who deals with the Imserso (I guess Rosas does) !

You need to prove you're on a Pension and are a Spanish Resident. You can of course take your partner on the holiday ! We had to wait around 3 weeks for a letter to arrive from Madrid. Keep this letter safe as you'll need it each time you want to book a holiday.

We highly recommend this program and are looking forward to our next holiday !!

Once you are registered you do not need to visit the travel agent if you do not want to, you can do it all on line including payments.

For the Canaries and Balearics use https://www.mundiplan.es/

For mainland Spain use http://www.mundosenior.es/portal/page/p ... es/Home_2b

According to Las Provincias, they are starting this September, for holidays to start in October.

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto , has announced that the Imserso trips will be commercialized in September to begin in October , as they are working on finishing the specifications and taking it to the Council of Ministers. This has been stated in the program 'Al Rojo Vivo', in which Maroto has assured that it is "a way to reward the elderly group", which is "the one that has suffered the most in the pandemic" and is already vaccinated in " 70% or 80% ”.

Regarding the vaccination process, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has insisted that it is "the best instrument to reactivate travel and the economy" , and is that in Spain almost 10% of the population is vaccinated at the end of April 2021. “We will have enough vaccines, we are starting to vaccinate with Janssen and five million will arrive from Pfizer by the second quarter of the year. Speeding up the vaccination process is a priority to improve the incidence of the pandemic, ”Reyes Maroto highlighted.
