Safety Advice
It is highly advisable not to put phone numbers, email addresses or other personal details in any public posts. Anyone can collect phone numbers/email addresses etc from websites. It is wise to only give these details, if need be, to people who have already contacted you through email on a one to one basis.
It should go without saying but we strongly advise that no money is paid 'up-front' before going to view any item for sale on this forum* - You can then see that the sale is genuine and that the item is as described or pictured before you part with any money.
Always try to use the TalkQuesada website. Scammers may try to lure you away from our website, perhaps by adding email addresses or phone numbers to their advert - (We do not allow contact details on the actual forum and do our best to remove them but sometimes they may be missed - So avoid using them and only make contact by the private message system)
Be wary of new members who just come on and place an item for sale as their first post. They may be genuine but it's best to check them or try to only use an established member when buying.
- *Meet in person. The best way to buy is to see in person what you’re getting before you pay for it. Try your best to do it somewhere public if possible and take someone with you.
- Google is a good thing to use if you want to check an item for sale- Put the details you've got about the seller/buyer and see if any results come up. Also you can put in any phone number or e-mail address you have, to see if it pulls up any feedback from other people.
- Be very suspicious of a seller who asks you to pay online. This is a local forum and we strongly advise that any payment should only be paid on viewing and collection of the item.

- Go to the items for sale and wanted forum . Please do not post your for sale or wanted item in any other forum
- Please create a new topic for your item. Find out more how to post a new topic.
- Please give a clear description, the price of the item, its condition and an idea of the area that it is for sale in.
- It also helps to upload one or more photos of the item. Find out more how to upload a photo to your post.
- It is advisable and sensible not to give actual contact details on an open forum but to use the Private Message/email facility here on Talk Quesada to arrange viewing, collection or delivery.
- When your item has been sold, please update your original message title to add "SOLD" to the start to make it clear.
