My husband has just had stroke and to enable him to leave hospital I need specialist equipment if anyone has electric bed, hoist or any items they think would be of use to support this i would be gratefully. I also get in touch with age concern. I need items in next week thank you

Hello, I have a zimmerframe you could borrow - if that's any use.
Age Concern is a good place to start, also see if any of the hire companies have anything you could hire

I don't think Zimmer frame any good at present as lost whole right side and speach but thank u keep in mind if required later. Yes age concern first stop on monday thank u

You could ask PAUL CUNNINGHAM NURSES if they could help you with the equipment you need. Although they are primarily helping terminally ill patients it doesn't hurt to ask.
