The next General Meeting of the Community will be in April

In the CENTRO MUNICIPAL AT CIUDAD QUESADA
Plaza Blanca nº 1 - Ciudad Quesada

Amongst other things there is a:

"PROPOSAL AND APPROVAL TO INSTALL A COMMUNITY WI-FI SYSTEM"

That will be interesting....great idea if it happens !

The meeting went reasonably well, only about 3 hours this time! Here's a synopsis of the meeting, as I understood it;

The committee President & Vice President were re-elected. New artificial hedging on the lower pool and repairs to the hedging on the upper pool were approved. New pool flooring on both pools was agreed and there were choices and three prices but it was voted in high majority to use a tennis court surface which, although at higher cost, is guaranteed to last a lot longer.The pool card system will remain for the time being, but the company who put in the system are no longer on board because the community does not want to pay a monthly fee for maintaining a system that has not proved to do the job it was installed for originally. If the pool system has problems from now there will be a rethink at the next meeting. A repair man will be called on an Ad hoc basis to fix it in the meantime.
As for Community WIFI - It was agreed that the Administrator should contact all residents to explain how this will work + the cost and to ask for a Yes or No, to see how many people might want it. The take up of the system will determine the cost. He said if everyone wanted it, it could be around 20 euro per year per house.
