Hi

I have just bought a 3 bed 3 bath pool villa and it's fully furnished - even down to towels and bedding.

We move in full time November 28th so may consider renting until before then although my brother may be there later this week for 7 days.

Its in Quesada (Rojales Hills)

Ken

HI,

Best to check the rules for renting, if you haven't already, as there are heavy fines for not having correct licenses or energy certificates these days

If you are renting out a property for longer than 4 months it is classed as a Long term rental and needs to have an Energy Performance Certificate (CEE) you can't rent out a property without one or even advertise it for rental or for sale. The penalty is quite high.

If you are renting the property out for short periods under 4 months then you should register the property as a Tourist Rental Property with the local Town Hall and obtain a license.

All this can be checked and verified at the town hall.

Just thought it best to mention but you may already know all this

We have a topic on this subject it was started last year but some of the information may still be helpful:
