Hi
Im sure its been discussed before, but has anyone experience of registering guests to a holiday home with the Police?
How straight forward is it and if someone could give me a step by step idiots guide to the process, on line method preferably, I would be very grateful. The property in question is in Quesada.
Regards

Many people use an app called check-in scan, it sends your guests documents to the Guardia Civil.
They also have customer support to help you set this up, you can get it from play store or whatever the Apple equivalent is.

It's very simple online, with or without the app, but first you need to go and register at the Guardia Civil station in Almoradi. Take your licence, deeds, NIE etc. You can go any time, but we phoned first to make sure someone would be there. With no queue it took him about an hour.

There are 2 apps I'm aware of, Chekin and Partee. I actually use Chekin as it seemed slightly more professional. As mentioned above, you need to get your login from the Guardia Civil in Almoradi, beware as they don't speak much English. Once you have that it is very straightforward, you or your property manager just scans the relevant ID document on arrival and it automatically downloads the correct form to the Guardia Civil. You repeat that for all the party over 16 years old. Takes less than a minute.
