Hello
I need some advice, please
I own a 2-bed apartment in Quesada and have had to return to the UK 2 years ago.
when we left we thought we would be back within a month or two but things have not turned out that way.
We are not able to return and find ourselves not sure how to proceed.
My question is
Can I sell my apartment from here in the UK ? and how would I go about it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi
This is a good question. I have often thought about this as a holiday home owner. None of us know what the future may bring and I found this information (link below) from my Solicitor/Fiscal representative. It gives peace of mind for the possible eventuality of having to sell a property while not being in Spain. I'm sure all good *Solicitors/Abagados would offer this service but here's the link to Abaco Advisers (They speak good English BTW and are easily contactable by email for any questions on the Power of Attorney for selling):

This link is about Power of Attorney for buying but I'm sure it can be done for selling too:

*Our advertisers Blau solicitors will be able to give good advice on how to do this (See advert on this forum)

You as above must employ a good legal service,as for selling from the UK you can of course advertise on many owners portals and private owners websites, the only downside is if you get interest do you have a reliable person to show the property? Also make sure if you intend selling to look at the local property prices and deduct about 5% from an agents price as more or less the correct selling price, and don't forget the market at the moment is not as buoyant as you might think, and the properties selling are at competitive prices.
All the very best
