In our opinion and experience we have found estate agents not very proactive in selling our villa. I am therefore happy to pay a 1000.00€ commission to anyone who introduces a buyer for our villa. Paid on 10% deposit. Please note I am only interested in replies from people either interested in viewing our villa or with contact details of interested parties. I am not interested in opinions on the price or how or where it should be marketed. Having thoroughly researched the market and various websites our villa considering the size and location is the correct price. Thank you.

Detached villa 3 bed, 2 en suite, family bathroom, office/dining room or possible 4th bedroom. Lounge leading to American kitchen, large utility room with door to garden, new air con, large terrace with glass curtains, south facing, BBQ area with large purpose built table, electric and water, own pool, private and not overlooked, parking for 3 cars. 160sq mt build, 500sq mt plot. 320.000€ ovno. Can't you just list with multiple agents? Also - and please don't take this the wrong way but if you're paying the commission only upon payment by the buyer of their 10% deposit, essentially aren't you asking someone to effectively sell your house for what (if my maths is correct) a commission on a sale of 320,000 of only 0.3 percent?

We are with multiple agents. The point of the exercise is to spread our wings. There may be someone on the forum who has family or friends who are looking for a villa in Quesada but may not be in Spain. In return for a phone number or email address and should a sale transpire then I am happy to pay 1000.00€ when a 10% deposit has been put down. We are not looking for someone to sell our villa we are more than capable of doing it ourselves. We do not understand your comment regarding commission. We are fully aware of the rates charged. IVA at 21% is then added which is a large sum to be paid out of the sale. By selling privately we are able to reduce the price accordingly. I trust this is clear to you. Been with them for couple of months. Not a single enquiry. Totally useless. Barcelo have been the most prolific out of all the local agents I am with. Its very frustrating. That's why I am trying the private route.
