Multiple agents is not always the best policy. Some agents are reluctant to put in the effort if they know it's on with multiple agents. Why should they when the property could sell with another agent and all their efforts prove to be a waste of time? One decent, hard working agent is worth paying for.

I also thought that but it didn't
work. Whoever sells get their 3% so its up to them isn't it.
If I can get a sale this way then I can pass on the commission saved. I also had a private sign professionally made.
