The town of Quesada is on the Costa Blanca in Spain. It is South of the city of Alicante and about 25 minutes drive from Alicante airport. Quesada is about 10 minutes drive from the town of Torrevieja and also about 10 minutes drive from the nearest beaches and the coastal town of Guardamar. Quesada evolved from being a suburb of the very typically Spanish city of Rojales, which is a few minutes drive away. The golf course called La Marquesa Golf & Country Club is situated in Quesada.

THERE IS NO TOWN OF QUESADA!! IT IS SIMPLY A VERY LARGE URBANISATION OF ROJALES.
ROJALES IS SITUATED ABOUT 8 KILOMETROS INLAND BETWEEN TORREVIEJA AND GUARDAMAR.
ALONG THE RIVER SEGURA.THERE IS A VERY PLEASENT WALK ALONG THE RIVER PATH TO
GUARDAMAR.

Quesada is actually a suburb of Rojales but it has its own town hall and has been given the name Ciudad Quesada which means The city of Quesada. The town of Quesada is just a term that we may use, like we might use 'Quesada village' to describe the Quesada high street shopping area. To say urbanisation of Quesada, as true as it may be, could be slightly confusing as the idea of an urbanisation to most people is generally a smaller area of housing than is defined by the boundaries of Ciudad Quesada.

A town is described as : An urban area that has a name, defined boundaries, and local government, and that is larger than a village and generally smaller than a city.

It is also a very pleasant cycle ride along the River Segura from Rojales to Guardamar.
