I am looking at an alternative to tiling for the outside of my house. I have seen a resin product which effectively creates a stone carpet in your garden. Has anybody any experience of this product ? How is it laid ? Is it laid down as large resin tiles or is it poured similar to concrete ? .do you know what length of guarantee you get from the supplier and if it damages is it a simple case of lifting that small section and relaying a replacement. Can anyone recommend a company that provides such a product .... thank you, any help either positive or negative would really help

Hi
We have this resin bond material laid on our drive back in the UK it looks good down there are a variety of stone colours and stone sizes to chose,it's laid by them mixing the resin and stone together and spreading it out it's about roughly 10mm in thickness,we have had ours down now for about 2 years and never had any issues with it,if it was to get damaged it can be patched up but you will always see a difference old against new there is a guy down Zocco market that sells it the price he starts from is a lot cheaper than what I paid back in the UK.

Thanks for your reply . I know of the product in the UK, many people where I live have it .Do you know of anyone in Spain with it ? I particularly was wanting to know how it reacted to the high temperatures ? And what sort of base it is layed on. 10mm seems quite a thin layer . I will get myself to the market next time I'm over. Thanks again

There used to be an old transit van parked down by the old lidles with logos for a soft surface contractor, they also have a newer vehicle , someone might see them around .

Hello ,

I am also looking to get my roof terrace done in a resin finish. Just wondered if you ( gab93011) or any one else has been in touch with any supplier / installer and would be happy to share the contact details ?
