Hi everyone,

We have recently purchased a property in Quesada and we need to have the bath replaced.
We don't know where to go or any plumbers/bathroom fitters that might be able to install so any recommendations would be much appreciated please.

It's not a full size bath.

Thanks everyone

Don Aluminio did ours and they did a great job at a reasonable price. Their advert is down the left hand side of this page.

We've just had ours done, bath and bidet removed, re-tiling behind the bath and the floor, large shower with column and a heated towel rail. Done by Don De and excellent job. 3 days in total, Monday removing bath and bidet, preparing the walls and floor and tiling. Tuesday tiling, cleaning and so on (finish by 12 noon). Today fitters and electricians to put the shower screens in, fix the towel rail. This afternoon plumber to fit column shower, seal the areas where the bidet used to be.
Excellent job and they cleaned up after themselves. It did take two weeks for them to start as the builder had to source matching floor tiles and marble tiles for the walls which they did.
Highly recommended.

T/quesada states
Please do not post personal details (Email, telephone, address etc)
These will be removed for your safety.

And as i was sending someones personal mobile, this was the right thing to do.

Have a nice day

Hmmmmmmmmm

Unreliable ,,,, I assume unreliable obviously means:

turning up on time to look at the job,,,

booking them on for the following morning as the job need to be done quite quick

Calling the dannys mobile and backing the call up by sending him a polite txt letting him know he was going to be delayed by 60 minutes on the morning ,,,,, although nothing to do with collecting a box of free tiles that was a direct match for the ones in danny's bathroom.

Then receiving a txt message from danny saying he had to go to work and could not wait and had to go work,,,

SO ,,, Mr gilfpro ,,,

Tell me ,,, if danny was going to work the same morning he had booked for the job to be completed, what the hell is he doing wasting peoples time asking for the work to be done and then going off to work ???

Fortunately, my husband is quite used to being mucked about by customers so always take the added precaution of backing up every answer phone message he leaves with a txt or whatts app and if he arrives on site and there is no one there to answer the door, he also takes a quick snap on the phone which is time dated so its can not every be disputed that he did not arrive .

Having to deal with insurance companies and danny public daily, covering your back becomes the norm,,,

Therefore:

In the nicest possible way Mr Gilfpro, I always say, get both sides of every story before jumping on a band wagon, before going off to work and leaving a contractor standing on your doorstep and claiming they did not turn up.

Its a shame that the London attitude is slowly eating and raising its little ugly head into what should be a pleasant way of life living here, whats even worse is sitting on band wagon

Lucy.d - :text-goodpost:

It's about time someone was able to stand up for themselves on the forum.

I hope this thread won't be removed for "complaints" or "upset" - it's totally reasonable for 2 sides of a story to be told.
