Can anyone recommend a gas Engineer for a bottled gas Hob.

The main burner - 10 mm diameter is not working properly

First, just give the 'castle' a very good soak and clean, use a nail brush to clean between the castles.

( dont put it in the dish washer, they can pit the metal )

hot soapy water should do the job, make sure all the towers are free from any spills, let it dry and test.
Also, ensure the chamber below is free from spills

If it still the same, chances are the jet will need a clean, quite simple to do,
Take off the pan stands
take off the cap
take off the castle
and in the middle of the chamber you will see a bass 'Nut' with a tiny hole in it, that is the jet,,

It can be cleaned in situ but ideally, using a 7mm nut runner, remove the jet from the hob, give it a clean using a fine metallic needle with a smaller diameter than the hole in the middle of the jet, give it a good blow and refit it being careful not to cross fread the jet when you put it back into the chamber, nip it up, dont over tighen

refit the castle and cap ensuring they are aligned correctly and test.

Hopefully,,, bob your uncle,,,,,

And as always with any hob or gas burner there should never be a yellow flame

good luck and happy cooking
