Sometimes you can help yourself, a gas fire can cause problems with condensation as can lack of ventilation ?

There probably are companies out there, but that’s only the same as something you can do yourselves, create the same effect by leaving windows open just a 1cm gap, when you are home. This would allow enough venting anyway. Plus what the previous reply says, certain appliances give off condensation, such as gas fires ( not that we know if you use one, it’s just an example) So no matter what vents you have, it will be difficult to get rid of condensation if you don’t check other things u might be doing to cause it in the first place. Good luck.

Condensation is a problem due to the way we live.Condensation is caused by water vapour in the air hitting a cold surface and turning back into water droplets. The vapour comes from people breathing, cooking, from unflued gas heaters and from the bath/shower room. To stop condensation forming you either insulate, ventilate or heat the structure above the dew point. In practical terms open the windows is the easiest and cheapest solution. After a shower close the bathroom door and leave the window open. If you have a kitchen door when cooking keep the door closed and turn the cooker hood on and when you've finished open the window and close the door to disperse the water vapour. If you always have the windows closed all the time you will get condensation on the windows maybe behind the settee that is up against an outside wall and maybe in a built in wardrobe on an outside wall and mayeb mould in these locations as well.

Air vents on thier own will not sort your problem. You need to look at the options mentioned by others. You need to heat the rooms as well as venting or use a dehumidifier. If you have aircon with a dehumidifyer option thats the best bet otherwise invest in an electric dehumidifier and warmth.

We use a dehumidifier and low night time tariffs for Electricity, also dries the washed clothes very quickly and not expensive to run with the night time tarriffs. Would recommend dehumidifier as it has sorted out all our problems.
