Hi
I am looking for someone who can repair my window.
It is a UPVC double glazed 3 position window, it is stuck in one position, can’t open it.
TIA
Regards

Try oiling all the moving parts, then gently move the opening lever until it starts to move more freely, once you have done this, return the lever to the position the window is stuck in and force it shut by pushing hard and upwards, this has happened to me a few times in the UK, and cost me quite a bit of money in call outs until I actually watched what the fitter was doing to correct it.

Ike2988, apparently it happens when the mechanisms start to dry out, and you slightly overshoot the position for whichever way your opening the window causing the hinges to slightly drop. Can be a bit of a struggle to push back in place, but has worked for me each time it has occurred.
