The Med Bar at El Raso. Went there for the first time last Saturday night just for a drink. What a lovely surprise. The place is beautiful especially with the christmas decs up which are fabulous and really tastefully done. It was a pleasure to talk to Alan and not be interrupted by him watching the TV...as there are none!!! Although we didn't eat on this occasion we are going back this weekend for sunday lunch. Will keep you posted. Sue

We had some friends over from the UK last week and took them to the Med for a meal,

The ambience at the Med is very welcoming, it has a 'bistro' feel about it, an excellent menu and attentive service.

I had been warned about their pizzas and had to try one - it was one of the finest pizzas I have ever tasted with a thin, fresh, perfectly cooked base and an extremely generous topping full of flavour. I chose the hot and spicy and it lived up to its name.

None of our meals was less than excellent, as is the house red which is particularly worthy of mention.

We just had to go back for Sunday Lunch and once again we're not disappointed.

The Med is a gem of a place, well done to everyone there for their efforts!
