Thats such a shame , we use that bar a lot and I,m sure Rosa and Manola who own it would be very upset to here that had happened there, I use a hand bag hook you can buy them all over for a couple of euro , it has a flat piece that goes onto the table and a hook for you bag, keeps it beside you but not in your way.

I have one of those too, but have always been a bit worried about even carrying a handbag!

I always go to El Faro to get a bit of Spanish practice in - as there aren't many local places where you can!!
