Had a feeling it wasn't going ahead after all this time without hearing. Booked our flights as well. Ah well, a lay in that morning. Didn't get a reply from the council when I emailed them.

There are five of us in Guardamar doing a 10k run on the Sunday morning, we had already booked flights so figured we’d just do our own race.

I would join you but I'll be in the southern end of Torry in Mar Azul near the southern turn around the race. Sure I'll get out for a run. Still disappointed enjoyed last year even though bit was s but warm.

Hi,
I did the 10k last year and have trained to do the half marathon this year. Disappointed to hear they're not doing it this year and surprised they haven't put anything on the website or in the papers.I have now registered to do the Guardamar half marathon on 18th March, so if anyone still wanted to run a half marathon this one is also fairly close by.

Just in case anyone is interested I read in a local paper that Torrevieja town hall are going to be putting on the half marathon and 10 k (also a 5 k) this year, it won't be in Feb but don't know when yet. Apparently it will be back to its normal date next year.
