All around Torrevieja and the surrounding areas you will find a street market taking place on most days. They are very good for all sorts of things and often have nice fresh vegetables & fruit. Most have places to eat & drink and can make an enjoyable morning out.

Here are the days of the Morning Markets in the local area (Updated May 2014):

Sunday

  • El Zoco market – El Zoco market is not far from the Quesada Arches, next to the roundabout on the motorway by the Masa cement factory. The Zoco market is very close to Quesada, not far from the Arches, next to the roundabout on the motorway by the Masa cement factory - It's easy to find as there will be lots of cars going there and you will join the queue for the market car park very close to the big roundabout and will see the market car park in the distance. The market is on a Sunday and open from 8:30 to 14:00. View a map of Zoco Market

Tuesday

Wednesday

  • La Mata market (In the town officially called Torrelamata) As you enter La Mata from the N332, you will go down a small road facing towards the sea - At the T junction the town and market is on the left but it's better to go right at the T junction and park in the roads around and behind the beaches, watch out for the one way streets though!
