DOG FOUND IN EL RASO

Young Spannial found this evening on EL Raso. He was not wearing a collar and will try and get him checked for a chip in the morning. As he had been running around from at least 9 am Saturday morning I suspect he won't be chipped as I've not seen anyone searching nor any reply on the EL Raso facebook pages, in which case if no chip I need to find a foster or a forever home for him. He is still quiet nervous around us, he gets on alright with our dogs and doesn't react to any cats in the street

How kind you are to take him in and try to find his owners. I wish you good luck and hope you find his home. Poor little fellow. If only they could talk.

GOOD NEWS
well for the dog anyhow. I went to two vets and the police this morning he wasn't chipped nor had he been reported missing. He is believed to be 8 to 10 months old, and it has been suggested that he didn't make the grade as a hunting dog so was dumped. I had been introduced to a woman who has experience in re-homeing unwanted dogs and is involved in sending them to homes into the north of Europe, she had offered to help should I not find an owner. She came over and met him today and fell for him, she now would like to take him in, so now he will live in the campo in a secure finca. Landed on his feet. So thankyou everyone for your messages and interest.

Aww, bless you Mick for taking him in - sounds like he's going to be really happy - which at the end of the day is all that they deserve to be happy. Well done
