Posted: Wed May 19, 2021 12:59 pmBEWARE - UPDATE: May 20 2021.COLE is back home, but badly injured so we are off to see Dr. Javier He has been at the vets all day practically. He was shot!...you can see on the first photo his lung all white that is blood and the bullet almost went through the other side.Where you see the bullet and the darkness I'm told is air right through one lung and thankfully missed his heart and the other lung.They did his bloods and they are all pretty good, he actually didn't lose too much blood so no transfusion was needed. I was warned that he wouldn't want to eat for a couple days probably and only very soft almost mashed food.We got home and he started eating his soft food right away. He has been injected with antibiotics, anti-inflamatorio and I have pain killer in drops to start tomorrow.The injections will last 2 weeks but if he shows any signs of discomfort or trouble breathing I must rush him back right away. I can't even begin to wonder what kind of sick %&/(! would do this right here in our neighborhood. This is not a pellet, it is a bullet. They will soon start shooting people too! wouldn't surprise me in the very least. So I will report it to the police, but it will probably be in vain, at the vets they say cats are brought in all the time with gun shot woundsThank you everyone for you messages and for caring.
