Bit of a long shot. A few days ago, my friend lost his pretty little love bird which escaped from its cage. The bird is bright yellow with an orange breast/head and with a white ring around the eyes. Not sure if it's male or female as impossible to tell just from looking. However, it's very friendly with people. Lost in Calle Aphrodite on the top of the hill between Torrevieja and La Mata.

If anyone sees the bird or hears anything, or sees a new love bird/agapornis for sale advert matching the description, I would be grateful if you could contact me asap.

If your friend is able to make a recording on their cell phone of a YouTube video featuring love bird sounds and play back the recording outside, then if your friend's love bird is still in the area the bird might be curious and fly to the area. I know it might sound silly, but this worked for one person; however, I think they had a parrot. I hope your friend is reunited with their lost bird soon.
