1. When starting a new topic or post click on the link at the bottom of the page which says "Upload attachment":

2. Now click on "Choose file" to select the photo or file you would like to upload

3. Select the file from your computer and press "Open", "OK" or "Choose file" depending on your computer:

4. Click on "Add the file" to then upload it

5. You have now uploaded your file and you can proceed to writing and submitting your post

---

*When you have uploaded your file - Just click onto your post where you want the photo to be and then click 'Place inline' and when you have finished just click on Submit.

I have just uploaded a picture on Buy and Sell of an electric fire under heading 'For Sale Electric Fire, lovely flame effect'. It has come up as a jpg file rather than a picure - how do I correct this??

It means your picture file was too small but it does open when anyone clicks on it, so should be OK.

Hi Alex,
I have searched and searched for the suggestions you have given for posting photographs and on my iPad,there is nothing like you show on the pictures giving advice.

Surely,it cannot be that difficult but it is proving to be for me.
Help!

Which forum are you trying to post in? Here is the link to start a new topic in the buy and sell forum:

posting.php?mode=post&f=36

You should see the Upload attachment tab near the bottom. If not, send a screenshot or take a picture of your screen and send it to us so we can see what is going on.

Thanks Alex - the link I had was always 'page not available' hence my frustration - never saw the 'upload attachment' bit - dooooohhhhhhhh!! Cheers
