1. Click on the "PM" button on the right hand side of someone's post (*If there is no PM button (icon) on your device, see the bottom of this post for alternative instructions):

2. You will see a box where you type your message. After where it says "Subject:..." press Enter a couple of times and add your text:

3. Or select all the text and delete to clear all of that text and add your own message:

4. Once you have finished typing your message you can then send it by scrolling down to the Submit button near the bottom:

*If there is no icon for PM or Email on the Tablet, Iphone or other device you are using, just click on the name of the person you want to message and you will see the following highlighted text that you can click on to send a message:
E-mail address:E-mail (Name of member)
Send private message

Just a quick add-on to this Topic as we have lots of new members and a few people have indicated that their messages are not being picked up from the In Box.
When you receive a *Private Message you should get a notification in your emails saying you have a private message in your 'In Box' and you can 'click' into it from there.
Also, on the personalised home page of TalkQuesada, you can check if you have any messages if you look at the blue 'Welcome' section with your user name on at the top. There you will see a little envelope icon and if you have a message it will show there such as "1 New Message" and you can click into it from there.

*Private messages are entirely private between you and the recipient - Nobody else, even the forum administrators, can see or has access to your private messages.

Hi Melv

Thanks for letting us know about this. We have just made a change to the private messaging facility to hopefully fix this issue for you.

Please refresh the page a few times and try again and let us know if that works

Thanks

If a message you have sent is still shown as being in your 'Outbox', it means the person receiving the message has not actually read it yet - It's always a good idea to write a post on the forum to the person you are private messaging saying that you have sent them a PM. That way they know to look in their messages.

Hi Admin,

Wonder if you could help, I’ve received and answered a couple of private messages, but my replies just seem to be sitting in the outbox rather than sending, am I doing something wrong?

Regards Tim

See my answer on your other post but they stay in the outbox until the person you sent to reads them, then they go into your sent box and you know they have seen them.

Please be aware of unsolicited PMs and think why haven't they replied on the forum. There are many agents and others desperate to sell properties, please be careful to check them out personally online or on the forum before dealing with any of them.

Not sure what you mean but you will only want to email or PM others.
