What is the best route to Jersey from Alicante?

Hola good people of Quesada,
We have been invited to celebrate our friend's (who lives in the UK) milestone birthday to Jersey next year. I have done some research but it seems that there is no direct flight from Alicante. Has anybody done this route before and how?

I would think the best way would be alicante to southampton airport ( flybe) then southampton to Jersey, they fly there regularly. Flybe not the cheapest but not so bad if you book early.

There are about 6 flight a day to jersey from southampton. So good choice and short flight.

Fly Alicante to Gatwick then Gatwick to Jersey I know someone does it every month

Fly to Gatwick, then Gatwick to Jersey with either Easyjet or British Airways. BA can sometimes work out cheaper depending on time of year and when you book. We have friends who do it every month or so.
