Hey! Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get from the airport to the hotel in Guardamar please?

A friend Is coming over in October And has been quoted 60 euros each way which is a lot more than she would like to spend.

My friend got the bus to Alicante and then to Quardmar not sure on the price my be 5 or 6 euros

Really? I don't think so, sadly There's the bus to Torrevieja, which I understand does not stop anywhere, buses to Alicante and I think one to Elche. The cheapest route would be like mentioned above to get the bus to Alicante and then one to Guardamar ( the main Alicante -Cartagena bus goes through Guardamar) or check out the potential for the airport bus to Torrevieja and then a bus back to Guardamar.

Bus the whole way would be cheapest but a compromise might be airport bus to Torrevieja and then taxi to Guardamar.

Friends of ours did this just last week - Bus from Airport to Alicante was €3 or 4 then bus from Alicante to Guardamar, again €4or5 = so call it €10 - peanuts......

Yes there is a bus from the airport to Guardamar. It's only 1st July to 31st August, though, and goes all the way down to the Mar Menor. Stops at Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar, La Mata, Torrevieja and Playa Flamenca.

The timetable is listed on the Torrevieja bus stop at the airport.
It costs €4.29 one way.
This is an old one but matches the timetable listed at the airport except the one at the airport now includes Santa Pola as a stop. It also shows one of the buses with a link to Rojales from Guardamar (can't remember which one it is)
