Heads up on good stuff from a budget airline-MONARCH

I didn’t think budget airlines did these things, and I’m sure some of the others don’t.

I messed up the dates for flights for my wife, daughter and 2 grandkids.

If you ring customer helpline within 24 hours there is no admin charge to change your booking, just £15 per person changing from online to telephone booking instead of the usual ridiculous fees.

Also if you have kids you can take car seats and change bags for free just like pushchairs, saves a fortune against getting kids seats from the car hire people who totally rip you off.

Car hire quote was around £100 for 2 seats for 1 week. The car is only £50.

The only kid’s stuff Monarch charge for are travel cots.

I do see a lot of questions about car seats for kids in particular. Makes sense to ask the airline first if you can take your own.
