:text-lol: The problem is that most fruits are picked before they are properly ripe due to transportation and storage so when you get fruit that is ripe straight from the tree and also not coated in wax to preserve it the taste is 10 times better just like picking fresh carrots or potatoes etc

I find its best to buy fruit and veg as I need it from the local markets,some people are embarrassed to buy 2 potatoes ,2 carrots 2 onions it cost me all of 90cents the other day etc but it suits me ,don't do a big shop once a week or so .

That's great in Spain but the likes of Tesco etc in the UK have put most of the small veg shops out of business so you have to settle for what you can get and don't always have the option of real fresh fruit and veg!

I must be lucky were I live in the uk we have a thriving market town, and in town 3 really good fresh fruit and veg stalls that open 5days a week, and one of them states no pesticides or sprays used ,I never buy fruit n veg from big supermarkets,
