Flying on a plane with oxygen

my husband has IPF and may have to use oxygen when flying, has anyone ever arranged this themselves, any advice would be helpful as we don't know where start to arrange this.

I would guess contact the airline ....I have seen people with air tanks on flights so don't think it would be a problem
