Ryanair Baggage

It has just dawned on me, browsing the new Ryanair Booking Website, that the way they now sell their flights means that checking in one 20Kg bag between 2 people works out the same price as taking 2 10Kg carry-ons. You dont get speedy boarding but you don't need it if you have no carry-on and you still have the smaller bag free..

Don't have to cart cases round airport, drag them down boarding gate stairs, up the aircraft steps and into overhead lockers and same again the other end . . . plus you can take loads more stuff that you can't in a carry-on . . .

Swings and roundabouts I suppose. You'd have to wait for your case to turn up on the conveyor with carryon, straight off and on your way but also you can put hairspray or whatever (liquid) in a case. I personally prefer a case.

Not sure where you are looking, but it’s £10 each passenger each way for priority including 10 kg bag which = £40 and a 20 kg bag costs £25 each way = £50

OMG . . . just looked again and you're right . . . their new look page shows "regular"+10kg bag + speedy boarding + cheap seat @£21 extra . . . if you go "value" and book the same things as extras it is £10 speedy boarding and carry-on + seat, say £7 so cheaper . . . . deceitful sods . . . my mistake . . .

After years of buying priority boarding we have now started going non priority... The queue for priority is so big can't be bothered so we take back packs and sit and relax till time to board..we do book our seat so no problem...
